Chapter 2 Commissioning EC-BOS-9 Install and Startup Guide
Notice that in the Nav tree, the platform instance for that EC-BOS is now dimmed.
Step 5 Assuming that you changed the EC-BOS’s IP address during commissioning, right-click and close
that platform instance, as this would make that connection instance invalid.
Step 6 Do one of the following:
• If you did not change its IP address, after several minutes you should be able to double-click the
platform instance again to reconnect.
• Open a platform connection using the controller’s new (changed) IP address.
Going forward, you must access the controller by its new (assigned) IP address. EC-Net 4 Pro keeps
a history of TCP/IP changes made.
Use the credentials for the new platform user you created to replace the factory-default platform user,
or if you created additional platform users, log in with the credentials you created for one of them.
Step 7 If you changed your PC’s IP address to commission the controller, be sure to reconfigure your PC’s
TCP/IP settings back to appropriate settings to communicate with it. Otherwise, you will be unable to
connect to the PC to commission another controller.
