Set Up
1. Ensure all preparatory tasks have been
done correctly. See “Prepare” on page 33.
2. Ensure engine is shut down.
3. Ensure restraint bar is installed correctly:
• Danger word must be facing up, as
shown.
• Restraint bar must be in correct
position. See “Check Restraint Bar
Position” on page 93.
4. If equipped, remove backfill blade. See
“Backfill Blade” on page 75.
5. Install correct counterweight configuration.
See “Counterweights” on page 76.
IMPORTANT: Trench cleaner shown
installed on restraint bar is optional.
