Before turning the laser equipment on, check and ensure that:
• The laser system has been installed and guarded to Class 1 laser
safety standards (EN60825), see “GUARDING” on page 1-13
• Only authorised personnel should be present within the operating area
of the laser marking system.
Before starting any production:
• Check the laser marking system for any visible damage.
Ensure that it is only operated in “best possible” condition.
Discovered defects must be eliminated immediately.
• The laser system may not be used until all defects are eliminated.
• Check and ensure that material or other objects not required for the
production are removed from the operating area of the laser marking
system.
• Check and ensure the flawless functioning of all safety devices.
All valid rules and laws for accident prevention are to be observed.
