Ducati DESERTX - Side Stand

Side stand

The position of the side stand is identified on
the instrument panel by the warning light (X). When
the warning light is on, the side stand is lowered (and
the engine  is inhibited). ("Full" screen (A);
"Rally" screen (B)).

When the side stand is extended, the fuel
indicator will not update.
When the side stand is in the rest (horizontal)
position, the first update of the fuel indicator will
occur only  a few seconds.

Place the motorcycle on the side stand only
when you are not going to use it for  periods of
time. Before lowering the side stand, make sure that
the bearing  is hard and flat.
