Programming a JOB
The following items are required to be entered to program a JOB.
JOB number
Select a JOB number in which the JOB currently being programmed is saved.
JOB Name
Enter a JOB name with the NUMERIC keys. You can enter up to 50 letters/characters.
Width
Enter a width of a document.
Length
Enter a length of a document.
Lead Mark (REG Mark)
When using the REG mark reading function, enter the distance between the lead edge of the
document and the REG mark.
Slit
Enter the distance between the right edge of a document and each slit position.
You can make settings for up to 6 positions to slit on one document.
Cut
Enter the distance between the lead edge of a document and each cut position.
You can make settings for up to 30 positions to cut on one document.
Crease
Enter the distance between the lead edge of a document and each crease position.
You can make settings for up to 20 positions to crease on one document.
Air Knife
Compressed air is blown out from the front of documents to loosen them. This prevents a
double feed.
REG Mark
Reading the REG mark improves accuracy of a cutting position.
Suction Power
A document is fed by being suctioned with the suction fan.
When processing light weight documents, set this to
MIN
to prevent document jams.
Side Mark (REG Mark)
When using the REG mark reading function, enter the distance between the right edge of the
document and the REG mark.
Blow Fan
Air is blown out from the front of documents to loosen them. This prevents a double feed.
The DC-618 can save up to 250 JOBs.
Before programming a JOB, precisely measure processing
positions in mm or inch.
