7-1. Settings
Select the memory number whose settings are to be
changed using the [Memory number selection key] and
press the [Setting key]. The <Select Binding Mode>
screen appears.
The settings of the memory number selected are saved.
If there is no need to save, use memory No. 0. (
Refer
to page 15.)
Selecting the finishing mode
The following describes the procedure for the conditions:
A4 horizontal (length 210 mm/8.50 inch x width 297 mm/11.00 inch), side stitching, folding Off, trimming Off.
Select the finishing mode.
The stitching position is about 6 mm/0.24 inch from the
leading edge of the paper and cannot be changed
vertically.

Setting the stitching mode.
Press the [Side Stitching key] to set “Side
stitching”. (Select side stitching even for corner
stitching.)
The folding mode is automatically set to “Fold Off”.
(Can be changed.)
When set to “Fold Off”, the trimming mode cannot
be selected.
Press the [Fold On key] to set “Fold On”.
This allows selection of the trimming mode.
To trim, press the [Trim On key] and set “Trim
On”.
NoteNote
If DBM-500T is not connected, or when
“Fold Off” is selected, “Trim On” cannot
be selected.
After setting the finishing mode, press the [Next key] and
proceed to the <Enter Paper Size> screen .
Pressing the [Cancel key] cancels the values entered and
returns to the main menu.
