10. ERROR MESSAGES
When an error occurs, details of the error and its location are displayed on the touch panel, and the machine
stops.
Perform the appropriate procedures to correct the error. This machine will not operate while error messages are
displayed.
10-1. Emergency Stop
The moment the emergency stop switch is pressed, the
machine stops and this error message appears on the
touch panel.
This machine will also stop when the emergency stop
switches of the upstream or downstream unit is pressed.
Likewise, the this error message will be displayed on the
touch panel.
Releasing the switch
Turn the switch to the right to release it.
If there is paper remaining inside the machine, open the
top cover, remove it and resume operations.

10-2. Covers
This error message is displayed when the top cover is
open.
Opening the cover while the machine is running will stop
the machine immediately, and the this error message will
appear on the touch panel.
If there is paper remaining inside the machine, open the
top cover, remove it and resume operations.
NoteNote
If “RL VP Error” is displayed, open the top cover
again and close it properly.
