When connected with the sheet feeder DSF-2000, jog
operations are performed once at the stitching section
for every specified number of sheets during paper
feed.
This number of sheets can be set between 2 and 9
sheets only when the DSF-2000 is connected.

Set the number of jogs at the stitching section. (
Refer to page 19.)
This can be set between 1 and 9 times.
At start, the upstream unit compares the processing
speed suitable for the number of jogs set on this
machine and the processing speed set at the upstream
unit, and starts operations with the slower processing
speed.
If the processing speed of the upstream unit is
changed, the number of jogs of this machine will also
be changed automatically.

Pressing the [Back key] returns to the Option Menu 1.

Changes the opening timing of the side joggers. Can
be changed within 0 to 10 range using the [
/ keys].
0 is the standard setting. 0 is the fastest opening
timing, and +10 the slowest.
If stitched paper jams without being ejected from the
stitching section, set to minus gradually.
If stitched paper is ejected skewed, and jams at the
folding section, set to plus gradually.

Set the folding conveyance belt to always On or Off.
Pressing the [Switching key] switches between the
On and Off display.
Normally use Off.
In the Stitch Off, Fold On mode, set to ON, because
continuous belt running keeps pressing booklets
against the folding stopper, resulting in stable
operations.

Set the wire feed detection to On or Off.
L1 is the left stitcher in respect to the paper
conveyance direction, and R1 is the right stitcher.
Pressing the [Switching key] switches between the
On and Off display.
Pressing the [Next key] proceeds to the option menu 2
screen.
9-2. Option Menus
The optional settings still remain effective even though the power is shut off.
To memorize these settings, start this machine and stop once.
The contents of each option setting is effective on all memory numbers.
