Theseatsensorpreventsunintendedoperation.
This toilet is equipped with a seat sensor that will only allow the cleansing and frying
functions to operate when the toilet seat is occupied.
* The rear cleansing, rear cleansing - mild, front cleansing, and dryer features do not operate even if the button is
pressed, unless the toilet seat is occupied.
Since the seat sensor uses light reflection, it may not be able to detect a user. Such cases are listed below, along
with solutions:
If the user leans forward or sits on the front of the seat
* Sit further back on the seat.
If the user wears dark clothes that do not reflect light easily
* Place a hand over the sensor, so that the sensor can detect the user.
If the sensor is dirty or wet
* Clear the sensor with a soft cloth.
Alowbatteryindicatorisprovided.
The battery indicator on the remote control flashes with the display on the diagram on the right, when the battery
charge
becomes low. When the display indicating low battery charge appears, replace the batteries in the remote control
as soon as possible. (Page 53)
* Such factors as the size of the room, decor, and color (particularly a dark color), may weaken the signal causing
the remote control to stop functioning before the indicator starts flashing.
* If a button on the remote control is pressed with the toilet room door open or with the battery indicator flash-
ing, the signal may not reach the seat unit and the specified function may not be activated.
Thetoiletseatandseatlidcloseslowly.
To prevent the toilet seat and seat lid from closing forcefully, a “damping mechanism”
is provided.
* Note that the toilet seat or seat lid may be damaged if these are closed roughly or too forcefully.
* These close slowly only when the power is turned on.
