5 Installation
5.1 The tools required
1 Tape measure 1 Hammer
1 Water level 1 Set of screw drivers
1 Pencil 1 Ring – open ended spanners, 6 – 14 mm
1 General purpose pliers 1 Extension cord
1 A pair of wire cutters 1 Electric screwdriver
1 Wire strippers 1 Electric drill
1 D.V.O.M. 1 A set of metal drill bits 6 – 14 mm
2 500 mm clamps 1 Hammer drill
1 1200 mm clamp 1 A set of concrete drill bits 6 – 16 mm
1 Silicon gun
5.2 Checks before the installation of the door
1. Make contact with the person responsible at the customer's place of business – check access
conditions and prevailing safety regulations.
2. First check the dimensions of the construction opening. The exact measurements can be found
on the production sheet supplied with the door.
3. Carefully unpack the door and check the various components:
• Left and right doorpost.
• Roll-up mechanism + technical data sheet included in the packing list.
• Control box.
• Fasteners for the door, the operating controls and other accessories.
