12. INSTALLATION RESTRICTIONS
ATTENTION: Important safety instructions. Carefully follow all instructions as incorrect installation can lead to
severe injury.
Before installation, we strongly recommend that you carefully read the instructions and warnings contained in
this manual (see chapter SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS) and follow the recommendations
contained therein.
12.1 Installation recommendations and warnings
Before installation, carefully read the SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS AND WARNINGS section.
The installer is responsible for conducting the risk analysis and adjusting the safety devices of the automatic
gate opener.
Ensure that the individual devices to be installed are compatible with the automatic gate opener. Do not
proceed if even one device is not suitable for its intended use.
Ensure that the central unit’s installation site is not exposed to flooding, does not contain sources of heat or
naked flames, and is, in general, not exposed to fire or other hazards.
During installation, protect the control unit components to prevent liquids (e.g. rain) and/or foreign bodies
(soil, gravel, etc.) from penetrating inside.
Connect the control unit to a power line established in accordance with current regulations and earthed and
equipped with a power-sharing switch.
The device must be connected only to a power supply line made in accordance with the applicable
regulations; the complete line disconnection device under overvoltage category III must comply with applicable
local regulations.
Packaging materials must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Wear safety glasses when making holes.
When working at a height greater than 2 m from the ground, for example, installing a signalling lamp or aerial,
installers must be equipped with ladders, safety harnesses, safety helmets, and any other equipment required
by law and by the standards governing this type of work.
