5. Install the IRC into an open X-Slot communication bay (see Figure 62).
6. To check the operation of the RMP, ensure that the UPS is supplying the load via the inverter or bypass. If
the indicators on the RMP show the appropriate status, then it is operating correctly.
If the RMP is not operating correctly, check the wiring, the fuse on the IRC, and the plug–in terminal blocks
for proper seating. If all connections are secure but the RMP still does not operate correctly, replace the
fuse. If this does not correct the problem, contact your service representative for verification that the RMP
is working correctly.
