5 Operaon
5.1 Start-up and normal operaon

Check that the indicaons on the name plate located on the back of the UPS meets
to the AC power source and the true electrical consumpon of the total load.
Starng the UPS on ulity power
Press “ON” buon connuously for more than 1 second to turn on the UPS, the UPS will get
into the inverter mode, the LCD screen will indicate the state of the UPS.
Baery charge
The UPS charges the baery as soon as it is connected to the AC outlet, whether the ON/
OFF buon is pressed or not. It is recommended that the UPS be permanently connected
to the AC power supply to ensure the best possible autonomy.
5.2 Starng the UPS on baery
Before using this feature, the UPS must have been powered by ulity power with
output enabled at least once.
To start the UPS on baery:
1. When the UPS is disconnected from the AC power source, press the “ON” button on the
UPS front panel. The UPS transfers to Standby mode, and press the “ON” button again, the
UPS transfers to Battery mode.
The UPS supplies power to your equipment.
2. Check the UPS front panel display for acve alarms or noces besides the "Baery
mode". Resolve any acve alarms before connuing. See "Troubleshoong".
Check the UPS status from the front panel to view the acve alarms. Correct the alarms and
restart if necessary.
