Basic operation
3 . To adjust the minutes, press either button [3] or [4]
while holding the [DISP] button down.
Button [3]: Turns the minute back.
Button [4]: Turns the minute forward.
To set the clock to 0 minutes, 0 seconds (an exact hour),
press button [5], holding down the [DISP] button.
For example:
At 3:29: Pressing button [5] returns to 3:00.
At 3:30: Pressing button [5] advances to 4:00.
t Switching audio control modes
Various audio control modes may be fine-tuned using this
procedure.
1 . Press the [AUDIO CONTROL] button for less than
one second.
Pressing the button repeatedly will allow you to control
adjustments of [BASS] (low frequencies), [MID] (middle
frequencies), [TREB] (high frequencies), [FAD] (front-
rear speaker balance), [BAL] (left-right speaker
balance), and [SUB-W] (subwoofer level).
2 . Turn the [AUDIO CONTROL] button to the left or
right
It controls levels and adjust the sound to your
preference.
When Tone Control Cancel feature is on, adjustment of
BASS, MID, and TREB will be skipped.
Adjustment of BASS, MID, and TREB is set by each mode
such as CD, tuner.
•If a digital surround unit (sold separately) has been
connected, the mode switches from Volume DSP level
adjustment BASS MID TREBLE Center level
Rear level Fader Balance SUB-W in that order.
