Switch the screen display size
The screen size of DVD and VTR displays can be switched.

NORMAL mode
The size of a regular television screen with either
side of the display having a black vertical bar.
WIDE 1 mode
The size of a regular television screen
widened evenly at the sides.
WIDE 2 mode
The size of a regular television screen
widened unevenly at the sides.
WIDE 3 mode
The size of a regular television screen widened
evenly sideways, upwards and downwards.
Viewing of wide screen modes is permitted when limited to the personal
entertainment of the user, but caution is needed because using technologies
such as image compression and expansion for the purpose of commercial
benefit or public presentation may infringe upon the rights of the copyright
holder being protected by applicable copyright law.
