Step 5. Push the plate to the left so that the edge of the plate contacts the
registration pins in the pin bar. (See View A, Figure 3-7).

Step 6. Push the plate forward (View B) into the recorder until it comes
into contact with a third registration pin that is inside the
recorder.
Step 7. Gently adjust the position of the plate as needed to get the green
Expose LED to come on and stay on. This shows the plate is
maintaining contact with all 3 registration pins (the 2 on the pin
bar, plus the 1 inside the recorder).
