the local electrical supply:
▪ For 200-230 V electrical supplies, the links must be congured as shown in

4.7.2 Connect the pump to the local electrical supply
WARNING:
Ensure that the electrical installaon of the RV pump conforms with local and
naonal safety requirements. It must be connected to a suitably fused and protected
electrical supply and a suitable earth (ground) point.
Note:
To prevent automac restart of the pump-motor if the electrical supply is restored aer
an electrical supply failure, connect the pump to the electrical supply through suitable
control equipment which must be reset manually aer an electrical supply failure.
We recommend that the electrical supply is connected to the motor through a starter or
circuit breaker which has thermal over-current protecon which can be adjusted to suit
the full load current rangs shown in Table: Electrical data (three-phase pumps with Part
Numbers ending in -905). The fuse rangs in Table: Electrical data (three-phase pumps
with Part Numbers ending in -905) are provided for guidance only. The supplier of the
thermal over-current protecon device may specify dierent values to ensure correct
operaon of the fuse and the over-current protecon device. Ensure that the fuse used
is suitable for the starng currents given in Table: Electrical data (three-phase pumps
with Part Numbers ending in -905).
1. Remove the cover from the motor terminal box.
2. Remove the cable-gland from the inside of the terminal box and t the cable-gland
to the cable lead through hole in the side of the terminal box. Using a tool this
should be ghtened to a torque of 3.75 Nm.
3.
Pass the electrical supply cable through the cable-gland. The diameter of the
electrical supply cable should be in the range 7 to 11 mm.
4.
Use insulated crimped connectors to connect the wires in the cable to the
terminals U1, V1 and W1 and Earth (ground) in the terminal-box as shown in
Figure: Three-phase electrical connecons: 200–230 V and Figure: Three-phase
electrical connecons: 380–460 V. The earth (ground) terminal connecon must be
ghtened to a torque of 2.13 to 2.87 Nm.
5.
Tighten the dome-shaped nut on the cable-gland unl the outer sheath of the
cable is rmly gripped. Using a tool this should be ghtened to a torque of 2.5 Nm,
do not overghten.
6.
Ensure that the cover gasket is correctly posioned, then ret the cover to the
terminal-box and secure with the screws.
