6.11 Test the motor condion
Test the earth (ground) connuity and the insulaon resistance of the pump-motor, in
accordance with local regulaons for periodic tesng of electrical equipment.
The motor of single-phase RV pumps complies with IEC 1010V1. We recommend that, to
maintain compliance with IEC 1010‑1, the earth connuity is less than 0.1 W and the
insulaon resistance is greater than 10 W.
If the motor fails these tests, the motor must be replaced.
