12. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The product is delivered with a cord equipped with a plug with earthing pin.
Keep the socket easily accessible to ensure that the device can be safely disconnected from
the mains.
The corresponding circuit must be protected in the power distribution max. 16 A.

it is necessary to follow all local electrotechnical regulations. The mains voltage
and frequency must comply with the data stated on the device label.

Electrical cable must not be in contact with hot compressor components.

Electrical cord must not be broken.
DK50 PLUS S/M, DK50 2V S/M compressor cabinet, variant 6-8 bar, is equipped
with a cooling fan and a switch. The cabinet must be connected using the cord
with a connector to a connector at the compressor electrical box.
Connect the pin for equipotential bonding 6
mm (1) to the electrical circuit using the defined
method under valid electrical engineering
regulations. The socket for equipotential bonding
(2) is an accessory and is not provided in the
basic package.

12.1. Connecting a compressor not installed in a cabinet
Insert the mains plug into a rated mains socket.
The compressor is ready for operation.
12.2. Connecting a compressor installed in a cabinet
Route the mains plug through the opening in the rear wall of the cabinet for cabinet-mounted
compressors.
Connect the cabinet electrically to the compressor by inserting the provided power cord with
connector (1) into an outlet. (Fig. 11)
Disconnect the cabinet electrically from the compressor by pulling the connector (1) from the
outlet while the latch is released.
Condition the display at the front door of the cabinet and then secure the cord to the display
in the clamps. (Fig. 16)
