NEEDLE SWING IN STRAIGHT STITCH SEWING
To check:
If the needle swings when running the machine with zigzag stitch, at width “0”, than correct this as
follows:
Adjustment procedure:
1. Select zigzag stitch and set the stitch width dial at “0”.
2. Remove the front cover (see page 6).
3. Loosen the set screw A.
4. Tighten the screw A while pushing the stitch width adjusting plate B up against the stitch width
adjusting arm.
5. Check if the needle does not swing by running the machine.
6. Attach the front cover.
