Below are some example strings to help understanding the interface better. All strings are
terminated with <linefeed><carriage return> and are shown below between quotation
marks (“).
Sensor working correctly, calibration factor 0.99, table 1
“00 00 100 0.99 5144 5150 5141 +43”
Sensor working correctly, calibration factor 1.00, table 3, with negative flow values
“00 08 100 1.00 -5302 -5303 -5342”
Sensor working correctly, calibration factor 1.34, table 3, with negative flow values
“00 08 100 1.34 -7108 -7107 -7107 +44”
Sensor connected, after stable zeroing
“00 48 100 1.34 0 0 0 +44”
Sensor connected, insufficient acoustic coupling / RSS value
“00 62 32 ---- ------ ------ ------ +43”
Sensor connected, request for status information (after sending command: S )
“CT-SN1 3/8" x 3/32" PVC Blood 37 °C
6 +10000 61414 FT_GFX_EV2200”
The sensor information above corresponds to the currently selected calibration table
and reads as follows:
o CT-SN1 = Serial number of Sensor
o 3/8" x 3/32" = Tube sizing
o PVC = Tubing material
o Blood = Calibration media
o 37°C = Calibration Temperature
o 6 = number of calibration tables programmed in Sensor
o +10000 = Flow range of calibration
Sensor disconnected
“00 E2 --- ---- ------ ------ ------ +42”
Sensor disconnected, request for status information
“------------------------------- -------- -------- ------
-- ------ ------ 61414 FT_GFX_EV2200”
