9 Cleaning, Low Level Disinfection and Maintenance
Details on how to clean and, if necessary, disinfect your BioProTT
TM
flow meter, the
applied parts and the accessories are given in this chapter.
9.1 Cleaning of the BioProTT flow meter
The device can be cleaned by wiping it with a soaked cloth and warm water. For low level
disinfection an aqueous 70% isopropanol solution can be used.
When using other cleaning or disinfection agents make sure that they do not
interfere with the housing of the device. Do not use cleaning agents that
scratch, are abrasive or are corrosive (e.g. scouring powder)!
The accessories must only be plugged in when dry. The accessory connectors
(e.g. plug of power supply unit) must not be immersed in liquid.
