The following steps must be carried out:
¡ Switch on the SPECORD PLUS and prepare it for measurement
¡ Open the
Spectrum
module in ASpect UV
¡ Enter the method parameters
¡ Start measurement
Preparing the SPECORD PLUS
for measurement
} Insert the holder for standard cells into the adapter plate in the measuring beam
path (M).
} Switch on the SPECORD PLUS.
} Switch on the computer and start ASpect UV.
ü The SPECORD PLUS is initialized and connects to the program.
Preparing a document
} Click on
Spectrum
in the task bar or select menu item
Moduls

Spectrum
in
the main window.
ü A new document for saving the method parameters and measurement data is
created in the
Spectrum
module.
Defining method parameters
} Click on [
Method setup
].
} Enter the parameters in the
Spectrum - Settings
method window:
Tab Input
General
¡ In the
Title
input field, enter "Holmium" as the name for the document
window.
¡ In the
Measurement mode
list, select the preset
Absorption
option.
¡ In the
Range [nm]
input fields, enter the values "250" and "700".
¡ Keep the preset values for all other parameters on this page.
