Replacing the Rack Transformer
Remove all cables connected
to
the
EPS-16
PLUS Rack,
including
the
power
cord. .
Remove the lid (see Section A).
Disconnect the transformer cables to the
power
supply, line filter,
and
power
switch.
Remove
the
four screws and flat washers that hold the
Transfonner
in
place.
Insert the
new
Transformer and attach
it
to
the base using
the
four
screws
and
flat
washers.
Reattach
the
cables to the power supply,
line
filter, and
power
switch.
Power up,
test
the unit, and reattach the
lid
(see Section A).
F Replacing the Rack OEX-6 Board
Removing
1. Remove all cables connected
to
the
EPS-16
PLUS Rack,
including
the
power
cord.
2.
Remove
the
lid (see Section A).
3.
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the
OEX-6
board.
4.
Remove
the
six (6)
15mmnutsfrom
the
rear
panel jacks
marked
Bus3lRight,
Bus3ILejt, Bus2lRight, Bus21Left, AuxllRight, andAuxllLeft.
5.
Pop the
OEX-6
board from the two white standoffs
by
squeezing
the
standoffs.
6.
Remove
the
OEX-6 board from the unit.
Installing
7.
With the
new
OEX
-6 board tilted
on
a slight angle, insert
the
jacks
into
the holes
in the
rear
panel
and
snap the board onto
the
standoffs.
8.
Reconnect
the
ribbon cable from the main
board
making sure that
the
striped side
is
on
pin
1.
9.
Secure
the
jacks
with
the
nuts.
10. Power up,
test
the unit, and reattach the lid (see Section A).
