During operation, never tilt the outboard motor while the tiller is extended.
2.4 Steering Angle
The boat is steered by movement of the tiller, which can rotate the motor shaft up to 70° either
side of central. The steering friction can be varied, or locked in position, by adjustment to the
clamp bracket damping shaft (see section 3.5).
