1. Always ensure that the outboard motor is turned off when inspecting, removing, or
installing the propeller. Otherwise, serious injury may occur to the operator or nearby
individuals.
2. The propeller blades are sharp, it is recommended to wear gloves during inspection/
removal/installation.
Propeller inspection should include:
1. Check for wear or damage to the propeller blades.
2. Check the propeller shaft, drive pin and drive pin hole for wear or damage.
3. Check for entangled debris (such as fishing nets, fishing lines, seaweed, etc.) on the propeller
and remove if necessary.
9.3 Maintenance of Electrical Contacts
Clean the charger and USB sockets with electrical contacts cleaner every two months, and
immediately if there is any sign of corrosion.
