Note:
❏ Use a USB cable with an A-type connector (4-pin male) and a B-type connector (4-pin male). We
recommend that the USB cable be no more than 3 meters (10 feet) long.
❏ The printer driver for this machine and the TWAIN driver must be installed on the computer.
Installing Local Setup Program
Note:
❏ You must have administrator privileges in order to install the Local Setup Program.
❏ If the User Account Control window appears when installing on Windows Vista, click the Allow
button or the Continue button.
1. Insert the Software Disc in your CD/DVD-ROM drive.
2. Select the language you want to display on the installation screens. The default value is English.
3. Click Local Setup Program.
4. Select the language of Local Setup Program you want to install if the desired language is different
from the one you selected in step 2.
5. Click Agree to accept the software license agreement and continue the installation.
Starting Up Local Setup Program
1. Click the Start button, point to “All Programs (Windows 2000: Programs)”, “EPSON”,
“AL-CX16NF”, “LSP”, and then click “EPSON AL-CX16NF LSP”.
The main window of Local Setup Program appears.
