Charging the Battery by Connecting to an AC Adapter
Connect the power cord to the AC adapter, connect the AC adapter to the printer, and then plug in the power cord.
Note:
❏ e battery charging light turns on when the battery is charging, and turns o when the battery charge is nished.
❏ It takes approximately 5.0 hours until the battery is fully charged.

Precautions on Storing and Disposing the Battery
❏ Store the battery out of children’s reach in order to avoid troubles by swallowing.
❏ When not using the printer for a long period of time, remove the battery from the printer and store them
separately to avoid over-discharging the battery.
❏ Do not store the battery where the temperature is very high.
❏ Before disposing of the battery, make sure you discharge them completely.
❏ Do not dispose of batteries as ordinary refuse. Instead, dispose of them in a collection or recycle box in
accordance with local laws.
