Loading Oversized Paper in the Paper Tray
To load paper more than 420 mm wide or 297 mm long, you
need to pull out the paper tray extension and/or move the
edge guide to the right side as described below.

You can load paper up to 432 mm (17 inches) wide; however, the
maximum printable width is 416 mm (16 inches).

When printing on banner paper, alwasy load it in the manual
feed slot. For more information on banner paper, see page 2-37.
1. Make sure the paper-release lever is set to the single sheet
position.
2. Open the printer hood and remove the paper tray cover.
