Installing or Replacing the Roll Paper
Follow the steps below to install or replace the roll paper.
When Installing the Printer Horizontally

Press the open button to open the roll paper cover.

Remove the used roll paper core, if there is one.

Insert the new roll paper in the correct direction and pull out some paper.
WARNING
Do not touch the manual cutter when inserting or replacing paper.
Your hand could be injured on the manual cutter.
Use paper that meets the printer specifications. For details about paper specifications, see "Paper
Specifications" on page 86
.
Paper must not be pasted to the roll paper spool.
