Installation of the argon gas cylinder into the VIO Cart, connection of
the APC
3 pressure reducer with sensor to the cylinder and APC 3, as
well as disconnection of the cylinder
Follow all applicable national/international requirements for transporting, storing,
handling, securing, using, disposing, etc. argon gas cylinders. Only trained personnel
should be performing these functions.
Please read and follow all safety instructions provided by the gas supplier including
the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for argon. Also, see specific information regard
-
ing the argon gas in the Technical Data. Finally, also reference the Notes on Use for
the APC 3 pressure reducer with sensor.
1. Attach cylinder pad

Open the door of the VIO Cart. Place the pad (1) for the argon gas tank into the left
hand corner. Note: A spare argon gas cylinder may also be placed into the VIO Cart on
the right hand side. However, it must be cushioned with a pad and secured by a strap.
These extra items are apart of separate cylinder fastening set. Use the following pro

cedures as a reference to secure the spare tank in the cart.
2. Affix strap

Thread the strap fleece side facing outward through metal bracket (1) of the VIO Cart.
