Connecting to PCS
The Extron Product Configuration Software window opens with the Device Discovery
panel open. Connect to the device using the Device Discovery panel or the TCP/IP panel
(see figure16).
Device Discovery Panel
The Device Discovery panel displays accessible Extron devices connected directly to the
PC or to a LAN or WAN. Devices are identified and sorted by model, IP address, device
name, or connection method.
1. Open the Product Configuration Software program from the desktop shortcut.
The Extron PCS window opens to the Device Discovery panel (see figure16).

2. Select the FOX3T201 device by clicking on it to highlight it in the list (

3. Click Connect (

To edit the IP address:
1. Click on the Edit button (

). The
Communication Settings box pens.
2. Click in the field to edit the address (see
figure17) .
3. Click Apply to complete and close.
Alternatively, click Apply and Connect
to complete and connect to the device.
Click Cancel to close the box without
changes.
