Models

Quantum Elite

• The Quantum Elite 615 has a 6U high, 15-slot card frame. It has a maximum input

capacity of 28 single-link DVI-D, 28 HDMI, 28 SDI, 28 RGB or HD component video,

or 168 composite or S-video. Maximum output capacity is 28 DVI-I or HDMI. Multiple

Quantum Elite 615 card cages can be used to create very large display arrays.

• The Quantum Elite 408 has a 4U high, 8-slot card frame with a maximum input

capacity of 14 single-link DVI-D, 14 HDMI, 14 SDI, 14 RGB or HD component video,

or 84 composite or S-video. Maximum output capacity is 14 DVI-I or HDMI.

Additional DVI, HDMI, SDI, or RGB source signals can be streamed over an IP network to

the Elite processors using the Extron QGE 100 IP encoder.

Quantum Connect

The Quantum Connect 82 and 84 models have 4U high, eight-slot card frames with four

HDMI input cards (eight HDMI inputs).

The Quantum Connect is ideal for small to medium videowalls with 2 to 14 screens. Two models

are available:

• Connect 82 is configured with one HDMI output card (two HDMI outputs per card).

• Connect 84 is configured with two HDMI output cards (four HDMI outputs per card).

NOTE: The Connect models do not support the following features that are provided

on the Elite models:

• Input and output cards other than HDMI

• Customized conﬁgurations to order

• QGE 100 source types

• Picture and image ﬁle source types

• Window borders or text

• Clock and timer source types

• Multiple processor systems

• Edge-blended displays

Features

• Card frame videowall processing system — The Quantum processor allows

for various combinations of input and output cards to match specific source and

videowall configurations. It is a fully modular system, allowing each unit to be

individually configured to best suit the end user application.

• Input configurations — The Quantum processor can be configured with various

combinations of inputs within the available card slots.

All models:

• HDMI input: The dual HDMI/DVI input card accepts two HDMI or DVI sources

at resolutions up to 1920x1200 and HDTV 1080 @ 60 Hz, as well as custom

resolutions.

NOTE: Appropriate HDMI to DVI cables or adapters are required for DVI

signal input on this card.
