Input and Output Card Arrangements
The Quantum card frames are configured to order. Therefore, the combination and
position of cards varies depending on your specified configuration. At least one output
card and one input card are required. Other than that, any number or combination of input
and output cards can be used, depending on the number of input or output channels
required and the number of available slots.
NOTE: In a standard configuration, output cards are installed in the highest numbered
slots, in other words, slot 15 downwards on the Quantum Elite 615 or slot 8
downwards on the Quantum Elite 408. On the Quantum Connects, output cards are
installed in slot 8 (82 models) or 7 and 8 (84 models). Input cards are installed in the
remaining slots nearest the output cards.
