Remove/Replace Ribbon Sensor (D930016)

Procedure

Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the Printer.

Remove the Stepper Motor assembly first. See steps 4 & 5

Remove the Platen Roller Gears (D900429) to access the Ribbon Sensor.
Remove the retaining ring (140048) and pull off the gear.
Tools needed: T10 Torx screwdriver
Estimated Repair Time: 30 min
Preparation: Remove the Covers
Important: This procedure can only be performed by
authorized service personnel.
