Chapter 1: Introduction to the FaroArm
If an error occurs because of ESD, check the Error Message displayed
on the screen and follow the steps below to resume normal operation. If
you experience anything out of normal operation:
1 Turn off FaroArm.
2 Wait for at least five seconds before powering the unit on.
3 This should restore communication with the host computer.
FaroArm Power Supply
Power the FaroArm with the supplied power supply. The power supply
shall be NRTL Listed for US and Canada. For IEC member countries
and Europe, the power supply must be certified for the country in which
the equipment is sold. Contact FARO’s Customer Service to order a
replacement. All servicing should be referred to qualified service
personnel.
