8.2.3 Checking refrigerant circuits
For A-Version, W-Version:
• Check the oil traps are installed and to specifications (chapter 6.2.9)
• Check that pipework is sized correctly and within the limits (e.g. length between
indoor and outdoor unit) (chapter 5.6.2)
• Check appropriate insulation has been added to pipework
• Check pipework for cleanliness and tidiness
For W-Version & P-Version:
• Check pipework is connected between Multi-DENCO and WaterCool module.
• Check pipework for Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) discharge is suitable for safe
discharge in emergency mode.
8.2.4 Checking water circuits
For C-Version, W-Version, P-Version, O-Version, CombiCool and Low-Pressure
Hot Water
• Check the hydraulic connections have been made correctly
• Check the hydraulic circuit is fitted with a water filter
• Check the water pipework is clean and has been flushed
• Check all shut off valves within the unit are open
• Check all filling valves and vent cocks are closed
• Check any water circuit safety devices for proper function
For P-Version:
• Check the hydraulic connections between Multi-DENCO unit and the WaterCool
module have been made correctly.
8.2.5 Checking electrical connections
Untested or unused electrical systems pose higher risks of faults.
Unsafe operation on these systems can lead to death or serious injury.
Before conducting the following checks:
• Ensure all electrical connections are isolated and interlocked to prevent
accidental activation
• Check the unit is voltage free
• Switch off all circuit breakers (MCBs)
