2. Connect the instrument to the PC using a 9-pin to 9-pin or 9-pin to 25-pin PC
interface cable.
3. Start CableManager on the PC.
4. Click on
(Software Update).
5. When prompted for the location of the software update source file, enter the
path to the DSPx_xx.bin file on your C drive; then click on
Open.
6. When the test tool software is installed, connect the PC interface cable to your
remote unit and turn the remote on. In the CableManager window, click on
(Software Update).
7. Select the file SRx_xx.bin as the software update source file for the remote;
then click on
Open to install the new software in your remote.
