Installing the wire
cutter on the
cleaning device
NOTE!
Wire cutters for conventional applications (one wire electrode) and for twin applica-
tions (two wire electrodes) are installed in the same way - as described below.
Attach the wire cutter holder (1) to the
cleaning device
Fix the wire cutter (2) to the holder (1)
using the two screws, two washers,
two lock washers and two nuts as
shown. The installer is responsible for
selecting the correct screws, washers,
lock washers and nuts
Attach the protective cover (3) to the
holder (1)
If using an electrically controlled wire
cutter: Plug the wire cutter connecting
cable into the wire cutter connection
socket on the cleaning device
NOTE!
The wire cutter cannot be supplied with compressed air from the cleaning device.
The wire cutter must be supplied with compressed air from a separate supply line.

For conventional applications (one wire electrode), wire electrodes with a diameter of up
to 1.6 mm (0.063 in.) can be cut by the respective wire cutter.
For twin applications (two wire electrodes), two wire electrodes with diameters of up to 1.6
mm (0.063 in.) can be cut simultaneously by the respective wire cutter.

shown in the following figure.
