Mechanically controlled wire cutter for conventional
applications (using one wire electrode)
If a torch neck pushes the valve lever (1) to
the side by more than 15° with the gas noz-
zle, the wire cutter is activated and the wire
electrode is cut.
NOTE!
The wire electrode is cut while the torch
neck is moving.
How the electri-

The electrically-controlled wire cutter opens and closes when there is an active signal from
the robot control.
