Temperature-controlled charging:
The following settings are available for temperature-controlled charging:
automatic/OFF/required
- automatic ... Temperature-dependent adjustment of the charging characteristic.
- OFF ... The measured battery temperature is not taken into account.
- required ...
Charging only starts if the temperature sensor is connected.
Error overtemperature ON/OFF
- ON ... Error message in the event of battery overtemperature.
Charging process stops and can only be continued once the battery has cooled down
and been reconnected.
- OFF ... No error message in the event of battery overtemperature.
Warning overtemperature ON/OFF
- ON ... Warning in the event of battery overtemperature.
- OFF ... No warning in the event of battery overtemperature.
An external temperature sensor is required for certain characteristics. If this type of char-
acteristic is selected in configuration mode, a note is shown indicating that an external tem-
perature sensor is required.
The following characteristics require an external temperature sensor:
- 28 - FCC IUI - CSM WET
- 30 - FCC IUI - WET
A note is displayed if a characteristic that
requires an external temperature sensor is
selected.
Use the "Pause/Start" key to confirm
the note.
