6. To select clean (reset) the AIM2™, depress 3=CLEAN:

8. The module has been cleaned and has lost its interface memory. If it will be reprogrammed in
this vehicle, it must first detect the interface. Observe the LEDs on the module as it
completes the power cycle. When the amber Heartbeat LED starts pulsing, turn the vehicle
ignition switch on, wait 20 seconds then turn the ignition switch off. The module should have
detected the current interface and may now be reprogrammed, as necessary, in this vehicle.
9. As required, depress D=EXIT to exit the FMU.
