If a specific chronometer value is not known when calibrating, enter 0 (zero) for the
chronometer value and continue.

12. Depress 2=RUN TIME to calibrate engine run time. A prompt will be displayed to confirm
recalibration of engine run time:

13. Depress the Yes key to recalibrate engine run time. A prompt will appear for the input of the
current vehicle hour meter:

NOTE
In step 13, if the current engine run time is not available, enter zero.
14. Enter the current engine run time and press Enter. AIM2™ will recalibrate based on the new
engine run time entry:

changing to:
VID: 1001555 RUN TIME: 000222 (PHT A)

Some older versions of FMU firmware may show RESET instead of CLEAN in the following
display.

15. As required, depress D=EXIT to exit the FMU.
Change the AIM2™ Interface: interface options are NONE, OBD, and SPEED SENSOR.
When an AIM2™ is “cleaned”, the interface is set to NONE. The module cannot be programmed
when the interface is NONE. Modules should detect the correct interface when installed in a vehicle
and powered through the ignition switch. If it is necessary to change the interface through the FMU,
perform the following (access to the MAIN MENU is only possible by first reprogramming the AIM2™
module):
