2 Load the document face down, and align it against the top left corner of the document
glass.

When you load a A5, B5 or A4 document on the document glass in portrait orientation for the Fax service, the
scanned image is transmitted with 180 degrees rotated.
For postcards or envelopes, load the original document as shown in the illustration.

When you place the top edge of the document against the top side of the document glass, the document
image needs to be rotated so that the orientation of the image matches that of the paper.
