• Ifa memorycarct corltairling a largenumberofimages
isinserted, there may be a delay before the software
starts and you may be unable to import or save im-
ages. Usea memory card reader to transfer pictures.
• Make surethat the computer does not display a mes-
sage stating that copying isin progress and that the
indicator lamp isout before turning tile camera off or
disconnecting tile USBcable (if tile number of imag-
escopied isvery large,tile indicator lamp may remain
lit after the message hascleared from the computer
display). Failure to observe this precaution could re-
sult in loss of data or damage to internal memory or
tile memory card.
• Disconnect tile camera before inserting or removing
memory cards.
• Insome cases,it may not be possibleto accesspictures
savedto a network server usingtile supplied software
in tile same way ason a standalone computer.
• Tile user bears all applicable fees charged by the
phone company or Intemet service provider when
using servicesthat require an Intemet connection.
DisconnectingtheCamera
After corlfirming that tile indicator lamp isout, follow
tileon-screen nstruct onstoturntilecameraoffand
UninstallingtheSuppliedSoftware
Only uninstall the supplied software when it isno lon-
ger required or before begirlrling reinstallation. After
quitting the software and discorlrlecting tile camera,
drag tile "FinePixViewer" folder from "Applications"
into the Trashand select Empty Trash in tile Finder

menu (Macintosh),or open tile control panel and use
"Programs and Features"(Windows 7/Windows Vista)
or "Add or RemovePrograms" (Windows XP)to unin-
stall MyFinePixStudio. Under Windows, one or more
confirmation dialogs may be displayed; readtile con-
tents carefully before clicking OK.
