Troubleshooting and tips
Refer to the safety notes in the "Safety/regulations" manual and in th e "Getting
start ed", Pag e 12 chapter when connecting or disconnecting cables.
If a fault occurs, try to c
orrect it as described in the following documentation:
• in this c hapte r
• in the documentation for the connected devices
• in the help systems of th
esoftwareused
• in the documentation for your opera ting system
Help if problems occur
Should you encount
er a problem with your compu ter that you cannot resolve yourself:
► N ote the ID number
of yo ur device. The ID number is found on the type rating
plate on the back o
r underside of the casing.
► For further clarification of the pro blem, contact the Help Desk for your country (see the Help
Desk list or visit the Internet at "
http://ts.fujitsu.com/suppor t/servicedesk.html"). When you
do this, please have ready the ID number and serial number of your system.
Troubleshooting
Power indicator re mains off after you have switched
on your device
Cause
Remedy
The mains voltage supply is faulty. ► Check that the pow er cable is correctly
plugged into the device and into a grounded
mains outlet.
► Check that the main s witch at the rear of the
monitor is set to the "I" position.
► Switch the device on.
Internal power supply overloaded.
► Pull the power plug o f the device out of the
mains outlet.
► Wait a m
oment.
► Plug the power plug into a properly grounded
mains outlet again.
► Swit
ch the device on.
