Installing an accessible drive
► Open the casing (see "O pening the casing", Pag e 35).
► If you are installing the drive in the upper bay and a cover (optional) is
already in place , ple ase remove it.
or
► If you are installing the drive in the lower bay, break out the pre-stamped
metal panel on the drive bay opening.

Do not throw away the cover. For c ooling and protection against fire you must refitthe
cover if you rem ove the drive again later (see "
Removing an accessible drive", Page 39).

► Slide the accessible drive into the casing until it snaps in place (1).
► Connect the cables to the drive. Make sure the polarity is c orrect.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 36).
It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
