► Place the drive cover on the casing (1).
► Slide the drive cover downward s (2) so that th e drive cover clicks into the catches.
► If necessary, make the required settings on the remaining hard disk drives.
► If you are not installing a new drive, reinstall the previously removed cover (optional) for the
purposes of cooling, fire protection and to prevent foreign objects from getting into the casing.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 36).
It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
Installing/removing a 3½" reader in a 3½" bay
(optional, SmartCard or M ultiCard)
You can for instance inst all a SmartCard or MultiCard reader in the 3½" drive bay. The
reader is mounted onto a module holder when installed in the casing.
SmartCard or M ultiCard readers can b e mounted on a module holder (optional).
If you have ordered a device with a SmartCard or MultiC ard reade r, the module
holder, SmartCard or MultiCard reader are already built in on delivery.
If you have orde red a device without a SmartCard or MultiCard reader, a
blind cover is installed instead o f the module holder.
