3.4 Security
The ETERNUS DX provides various enhanced security functions.
3.4.1 Account Management
Proper user account management is very important to configure a system where security is paramount.
The ETERNUS DX allocates roles and access authority when a user account is created, and sets which func-
tions can be used depending on the user privileges.
Since the authorized functions of the storage administrator are classified according to the usage and only
minimum privileges are given to the administrator, security is improved and operational mistakes and man-
agement hours can be reduced.
