4.1.3 Drives
2.5" drives and 3.5" drives are available.
Up to twenty-four 2.5" drives can be installed in a single 2.5" type controller enclosure.
Up to twelve 3.5" drives can be installed in a single 3.5" type controller enclosure.
Drives can be added during system operation. When an error occurs, replacement operations can be per-
formed while the system is running.

4.2 Drive enclosure (3.5" type)
This section explains the main components in the drive enclosure.
The drive enclosure contains drives installed in the front, and I/O modules and power supply units in the rear.
Drive enclosures can be added during system operation. When an error occurs, replacement operations can
be performed while the system is running.
